Mad About Chevron

Feeling a little more modern these days?  Well, no longer are the chevron stripes strictly for the gas station signs.  They have been popping up everywhere recently.  Not only is it a great way to add a modern twist to your details and decor, but it also creates clean lines and adds a pop of color.  I'm a big fan of the yellow and white combo, but it could work in basically any hue.

I'm just mad about chevron.

Real Arkansas Engagement: Kaylee + Colt

Aren't they the cutest?  High school sweethearts, Kaylee and Colt, both grew up in Charleston, Arkansas and after many years of friendship and courtship, Colt popped the question!  With a day full of pampering for Kaylee, a new house and a surprise proposal, this duo couldn't be happier!  Sweet Meredith Melody-Hubbell of Meredith Melody Photography provided us with these fabulous engagements and we couldn't be happier!

Arkansas Bride: Kayla Parker Mohr

Kayla obviously has a very fun style.  We think Karen Segrave of KES Weddings totally captured her spirit, don't you?  : )

Kayla Parker became the bride of Raleigh Mohr yesterday, May 28, 2011!!!  They tied the knot at the lovely Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock.  Their celebration continued at McDonald Hall.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Mohr.  We wish you soooo much happiness!

Best Face Forward

Happy Friday lovelies!  After recently planning a wedding of my own, my best piece of advice is to keep the details of your day both personal and meaningful.  We've all seen the amazing inspiration shoots filled with vintage pieces, typewriters, sewing machines...you name it.  If that's truly your style then by all means, go for it!  But, if you've never even touched your tips to a typewriter before, why is there one present at your wedding?  I can attest, it's very easy to get carried away and forget the real meaning of your day.

If you're looking for an easy and classic way to add a personal touch, why not put your best face forward? Right now I am swooning over silhouettes, on any and all details.  The cute options are endless; cakes, bags, signs, cards, fans and stamps. So go on, figure out which angle is your best and use that face of yours!
